An oasis in West Texas, Karen Stribling Unidad Park has a lot going for it, notably its design. When the area was being designed, there was a drive to ensure kids of all developmental abilities could enjoy the park. As a result, the park has ramps, a wheelchair swing, and other structures designed with every child’s mobility needs in mind. The park also includes barbecue grills, horseshoe pits, jogging trails, playground, picnic areas, lighted pavilion, and baseball fields. It is a bit off the beaten path but well worth finding.
