Love Municipal Pool

The best thing to do in the heat is to cool off at the local municipal pool. Designated as a Texas Landmark Historic Site in 1989, the Love Municipal Pool was redesigned in 2012. The new design salvaged the base of the existing pool and restored the exterior of the original pool building, renovating the interior to meet both historic and contemporary code standards. The aquatic area now includes a leisure pool for lap swimming, play features, water slides, sunbathing areas, and shade structures.

The pool is open for everyone from noon-6 p.m. and lap swimming from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesdays-Fridays during the summer. Admission is $5 per person for ages 3-64, $3 for 65 and older, and free for children younger than three. Call 325.657.4450 for more information.
