Kendal Art Gallery

The Kendall Art Gallery is a non-profit organization that promotes local art and creativity. It provides education and exhibitions that support the spirit of art in our West Texas community and beyond. This gallery is close to the city hall and offers an exhibition space, a shop, and workshops.

The Kendall Art Gallery is the home of the San Angelo Art Club. The club is the second oldest continuous art organization in Texas. It was organized in 1928 by a group of local artists who were part of the Texas Art Camp in Christoval in the early '20s. It is named for Helen King Kendall, a well-known artist and member of the camp.

It is always free and open to the public on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, from 1:00 and 4:00, and most Wednesdays from 10:00 - 1:00. For more information, call 325.653.4405.
